Spice Plantation Tour

 

On this excursion:

 

    You will be warmly welcomed on arrival from the cruise ship or hotel.

 

    Concord Falls - Spice factory - Nutmeg Processing station

    - Belvidere / Douglaston Plantation

 

    A 45-minute drive along the west coast takes us to Concord Falls, tucked away a lush tropical valley in the parish of St. John. See the famous fishing town of Gouyave. Nearby Fedon's Camp on map.

 

    Continuing our journey, we visit the Spice factory and the Nutmeg processing station in Gouyave where most of the island's spices are processed for export.

 

    We stop for Lunch. Fresh fish fried to perfection and served in sandwiches, or swordfish dinner with provision, vegetables, green salad on side.

 

    At Belvedere / Douglaston Plantations, nestled in the cool of the mountains, we can view one of the island's prime exports. Here the climate is ideal for producing an abundance of bananas.

 

    Approx: 5 Hours

 

    Cost: 105USD per person

 

    Then back to cruise ship or hotel.

 

    Restrooms are available at restaurant.

    The excursion may involve walking up some steep hills.
